Kemp Center’s concept of modern self-mastery takes its roots in 1806 when George Meikle Kemp (future self-made master architect) started a lifelong journey to study many of the most important buildings in Scotland, England and France.

As a result, he acquired firsthand knowledge of architecture and wood modeling, which was unrivalled in Scotland at this time. He also read ancient literature, wrote poetry and songs and played the violin. Kemp developed a lifelong habit of walking long distances. He sometimes walked enormous lengths as to find work or study architecture.

He was truly the “renaissance man” of his era. Kemp’s life legacy inspired the establishment of Kemp Center, which is based on ideas of commitment and passion to grow as a professional and as a human.

Development of modern e-learning and mass communication technology around 1990 started expansion of technology, which later became a core component of Kemp Center’s products.

In 2002, Kemp Center’s present day management started their journey through e-learning market and discovered great opportunities ahead.

Kemp Center’s entrance into online training for the enterprise space in 2019 and expansion to 4 new major European markets is 2021 mark two important events is Kemp Center’s history.
